The 16-year-old Grade 11 student at Mulgrave School chose the hospice at Lions Gate Hospital for her long-term personal school project.
What she discovered being among dying patients surprised her.
“At the beginning, I was very afraid of going. I knew that such a place would carry the need for emotional stability,” Zhou said. “The hospice is not a scary place at all. Even though it
