Top 20 Christmas songs for your seasonal mixtape
via vancouversun.comIn early November, the local Starbuck’s by the office started playing a Christmas mix. The net effect of this is that by the time Dec. 25 rolls around I won’t want to hear George Michael’s breathy Last Christmas, Paul McCartney’s revolting saccharine Wonderful Christmas Time or any version of Jingle Bell Rock ever again.
As for Leonard Cohen’s Hallelujah, it may somehow seem to fit the season, but a moratorium should be declared on that track for at least a few gene -

Opinion: Christmas music is for December (and only December)

I remember the last time I heard it, too. It was the first week of November, 2017, and I didn’t care for it then either. But I was especially troubled by the timing. November? Not that there’s any good month for this song — it’s the worst — but that’s the wrong month, for sure.
