Burnaby singer Michael Buble is returning to the stage next summer.
Buble says he’s booked gigs in Dublin and London in July 2018.
The announcement comes one year after Buble revealed his son was diagnosed with cancer.

Blob is gone, but not forgotten for scientists studying decline in B.C. fish stocks
via vancouversun.comThe “blob” is gone, but it’s left a troubling legacy on B.C.’s Pacific coast.
The blob is the popular name for a huge patch of warm water that featured record temperatures — in some cases, three to four degrees Celsius above normal — in the Northeast Pacific starting in 2013 and running through late 2015 and early 2016.

Opinion: Surtax needed to bring fairness to Vancouver real estate
via vancouversun.comIn Canadian society, the consensus is that wealthy people should pay more tax than less-wealthy people.
This is the basis of our progressive income tax system. Wealthy people can afford to pay more tax without seriously impinging on their lifestyle, and so they should bear a higher burden.
Some people grumble about this, but they are in the minority. And almost no one thinks that wealthy people should pay less tax than non-wealthy people.
Yet that is precisely what happens on a significant scale -
