The B.C. Utilities Commission released its report into the Site C dam on Wednesday. The previous Liberal government started construction on the dam near Fort St. John in 2015, but the new NDP government has threatened to cancel it. Here are five things to know:
1) The project is overbudget. Instead of the proposed $8.335-billion, completion costs may be in excess of $10 billion, even come in as high as $12.5 billion.

Metro Vancouver in for a blast of winter weather

Environment Canada posted a special weather statement Wednesday morning, saying snow is possible for Thursday night and Friday morning on the south coast.
The agency says an arctic front will arrive on the coast late Thursday, bringing much cooler air. It will also bring snow or mixed rain and snow to many areas.
By Friday morning, small snowfall accumulations are possible for Fraser Valley and Howe Sound.

Watchdog raids offices of Canadian grocery retailers in price-fixing probe
