  Nine-year-old Ausdyn Champ will be hoping his surname comes true after this weekend. Saturday, he’s playing at the Nintendo World Championships in New York, one of 24 players from across North America.

  Two young falcons who were saved from the B.C. wildfire have been released back into the wild.
  A B.C. Hydro crew pulled the two American Kestrel chicks from a fire-damaged power pole near Ashcroft in July. Crews were in the area clearing burned and fallen poles.
