Police seeking tips in double homicide in Vancouver's Marpole
via vancouversun.comPolice are seeking information after a man and a woman were found dead in a Marpole home on Wednesday afternoon in an apparent double homicide.
Around 1:30 p.m., officers visited a home on West 64th Avenue near Hudson Street after receiving a request to check on the well-being of the residents. Inside, a man and a woman, both in their 60s, were found dead.

Hunter knew grizzly was wearing tracking collar before making legal kill in B.C.
via vancouversun.comEDMONTON — The hunter that killed a notorious female grizzly bear in B.C. after the bear wandered into the province from Alberta knew the animal was wearing a research tracking collar but shot it anyway.
The Alberta government had moved the grizzly, known as Bear 148, in July from its home range in a popular developed area west of Calgary to a remote park north of Jasper to protect public safety.
