  RCMP are looking for the driver of a mobility scooter in Coquitlam, after a pedestrian was struck and killed.
  Mounties say an 86-year-old woman was bumped by a man driving an electric scooter at the corner of an intersection on Sept. 15.
  The woman fell and was declared dead in hospital.
  Cpl. Michael McLaughlin says the incident appears to be a “tragic accident with no criminal intent” but police need to talk to the scooter operator.

  A new survey suggests B.C. kids are getting outside even less than their parents did.
  According to a poll commissioned by TD Bank — called the TD Greensights Report and run by polling firm Environics — 63 per cent of B.C. parents say their kids get outside less than they did at the same age. More parents in Atlantic Canada (74 per cent) and Alberta (68 per cent) both reported their kids were spending even less time outside than those in B.C.

  VANCOUVER — A parole board has removed a ban on drinking alcohol for a young man who will spend the rest of his life under supervision for second-degree murder near 100 Mile House.
  Chad Bucknell was 14 in 1996 when he took part in the murders of four people.

  A former inmate at North Fraser Pretrial Centre has filed a lawsuit against the provincial government after a violent assault by another inmate while he was in segregation at the jail two years ago.
