Fab 5: Eighties redux

Don’t let the summery, slightly sexy cover of this book fool you. It’s neither as bright nor as carefree as the cover art — what with its bathing suit-clad girls and blue sky — would have you imagine.

Add weight and warmth to your daily wines for fall
via vancouversun.comSummer’s not gone yet, but those long, warm evenings are quickly dissipating. With fall knocking on the door it’s time to consider exchanging those rosé and the light whites you been drinking all summer for a bit more weight and warmth in your daily wines.
White wine isn’t so much a problem, but finding what I would term affordable reds for everyday drinking isn’t as easy as it once was. The affordable part in B.C. is almost laughable, and when you combine it with -
REAL SCOOP: B.C. woman linked to bizarre U.S. kidnapping plot
via vancouversun.comSomeone on twitter tipped me to this weird story out of Tennessee implicating a Williams Lake woman in an American plot to kidnap a judge and a sheriff.
