Nadia Albano Makeover: Okanagan restaurant owner ready for a refresh

via vancouversun.comTop Canucks prospect Jonathan Dahlen has mono, and will miss the 2017 Young Stars Classic in Penticton, the Canucks announced Tuesday.
Many believe that Dahlen, who was acquired in the trade that sent Alex Burrows to the Ottawa Senators, has a big future with the Canucks. Fans were excited to see the skilled winger in person, especially since they likely won’t get many more chances this year — Dahlen is expected to spend the season in Sweden, and that seems even more likely now that -

New Emily Carr University campus part of Great Northern Way transformation
via vancouversun.comFive years ago, when Equinox Gallery moved from South Granville into a former Finning International industrial building by Great Northern Way, the area was on its way to becoming the city’s new art gallery district.
But as far as being a neighbourhood with a sense of community, it had a long way to go. There wasn’t even a café within walking distance to get a decent latte or espresso.
That has all changed with the opening of the new $122.6-million Emily Carr University of Art -

Of course, the numbers are nowhere near as large. This year, 83,497 children will be educat -
