Concerned about their health due to high levels of dust, noise and traffic emanating from construction work on the Turcot Interchange, community organizations from neighbourhoods including N.D.G. and St-Henri organized a planning session Monday evening to discuss possible recourse.
Residents in St-Henri living downwind of the project complained of sustained dust that forces them to live with their windows closed year-round and no action from the KPH-Turcot consortium rebuilding the interchange.

Earlier this winter, rush-end John Bowman decided to return for a 13th season with the Alouettes. And now, with training camp beginning this Sunday, linebacker Chip Cox must decide his future.
Cox, who turns 35 on June 24, has been training with the intention of playing. And only last Friday, he spoke with general manager Kavis Reed, although no contract or role with the team was discussed.
“If I come back and play, I’m going to be just as good as I ever was. I haven’t lost any -

Opinion: There are many good reasons for Montrealers to be 'anti-car'
Josh Freed and others have accused the Plante administration of being “anti-car,” citing as evidence the pilot project to close the mountain to through traffic. “Anti-car” seems to have become a new mantra for those engaging in what used to be called “red-baiting.” Yes, the green hordes will come for your car, maybe even force you to take a bus!
A few facts need to brought to this discussion.
First, the City of Montreal has for decades been in favour of car-re -

Opinion: Waiting, with a broken bone, in a broken Quebec health system
Our health minister may be pleased with how our health-care system is being managed, but when it takes 13 hours of wait time to put a cast on a simple fracture, you find yourself questioning what exactly is broken.
Although the people at the top may want us to believe that there are enough doctors to go around, we, who are left sitting in the hospital hallways and waiting rooms, know that this is an absurd truth.
But instead of arguing about when this might change (since that will not be anytime -
