At of 5 p.m. Sunday, almost 7,000 subscribers had not yet recovered power, mainly in the Montérégie, Eastern Townships, Outaouais, Lanaudière and the Laurentians.

For the 10th year, the Fondation du Dr. Julien will hand out new bikes to 20 young Quebecers on Sunday, in cooperation with Vélo Québec and the federation of Quebec milk producers.

Man found dead in flood zone
Emergency crews discovered the body of a man in a flooded area of St-Alexis-des-Monts, 145 kilometres northeast of Montreal, at about 6:30 a.m. Sunday.
The body was taken to hospital and provincial police are investigating the circumstances of the death, said Sergeant Stéphane Tremblay, a spokesperson for the Sûreté du Québec.
The body was found near the Rivière du Loup close to Villeneuve Rd., an area dotted by summer cottages, Tremblay said.

More than 20,000 customers still without electricity, especially in Montérégie
Thousands of Hydro-Québec customers are still without electricity, some since Friday night, as 150 teams are repairing the breakages.
At of 8 a.m. Sunday morning, more than 20,600 subscribers had not yet recovered power, mainly in the Montérégie, Eastern Townships, Outaouais, Lanaudière and the Laurentians.
