The Amis de la Montagne is holding its 27th annual clean-up of Mont Royal on Sunday.
The non-profit group expects around 600 people to help it collect litter in the park’s wooded areas.

N.D.G. fire leaves family without home
An N.D.G. family has been taken in by the Red Cross after a house fire on Saturday morning.
Firefighters were called to the house on Prince-of-Wales avenue at 6:17 a.m., after a fire broke out on the second floor, said Benoît Martel, operations chief at the Service de sécurité incendie de Montréal.
The fire, which spread to the roof, left two dwellings uninhabitable.
40 firefighters responded to the call.
There were no injuries.
The damage is estimated at $100,000 -

New intelligence has been discovered in an area where her son was last seen, Alisa Clamen told the Montreal Gazette this week.
