Spring finally arrived in Montreal on Saturday and it was sunny and 10C at 1 p.m. when the Impact kicked off their first home game of the season at Saputo Stadium in front of 20,302 fans.
By halftime, Saputo Stadium was like a giant outdoor terrace for sun-starved Montrealers with fans singing and cheering as the Impact took a 3-1 lead over Los Angeles FC on three goals by Ignacio Piatti. But the party ended in the second half with LAFC scoring four

Quebec backtracks on merger of Ste-Justine and CHUM hospitals
Almost three years after merging the governing boards of the Centre hospitalier de l’Université de Montréal and CHU Ste-Justine, Quebec is reversing its decision.
Health Minister Gaétan Barrette announced in a brief statement released late Friday afternoon that he will present a decree soon to the provincial cabinet to “proceed with the unbundling” of the boards, which could take place as of September.
