It looks like Plateau-Mont-Royal and cycling advocate Luc Ferrandez will be hearing about his biking ticket for a little while longer.
On Tuesday, he was stopped by police for biking the wrong way on a one-way street near city hall and fined $42 plus fees for the infraction.

The city of Montreal plans to spend an additional $25 million per year on economic development over the next four years.
The money comes as part of the city’s new economic development strategy, which is being presented to the Chamber of Commerce of Metropolitan Montreal by Mayor Valérie Plante on Thursday.

QUEBEC — A Muslim community leader says Quebec mosque shooter Alexandre Bissonnette is clearly an Islamophobic terrorist.

Update: Mother of slain toddler to face murder charge
The mother of Rosalie Gagnon, the two-year-old found dead in a garbage bin Wednesday in the Charlesbourg district of Quebec City, is expected to face a murder charge Thursday.
Audrey Gagnon, 23, was expected to appear in court Thursday morning but was hospitalized for injuries she inflicted on herself while in detention, police said.
The woman was “disorganized” during the time she was being held, police said.
