Dorval is offering financial assistance to homeowners who want to replace wood burning appliances that are not up to code. Family, including toddler, seriously injured in Saguenay train crash
A family was seriously injured after the car they were driving was struck by a passenger train Monday afternoon near Lac-Bouchette, in the Saguenay–Lac-Saint-Jean region.
The Sûreté du Québec said the train struck the vehicle’s passenger side at about 4:30p.m., seriously injuring the three people inside — one of them a two-year-old child.
First responders needed hydraulic pliers to pry the victims out of their vehicle.

Early morning raids target organized crime, Hells Angels hangout
About 120 police launched a series of early morning raids Tuesday that targeted alleged members of organized crime as well as a site in the Montérégie allegedly used by the Hells Angels.
