Impact hope to put slow starts behind them in home opener against TFC
With only a small fraction of the Major League Soccer season on which to draw, it’s difficult to jump to conclusions following two weeks of play.
But the Impact’s year to date under new head coach Rémi Garde has seen two constants through a pair of defeats — Montreal has trailed both Vancouver and Columbus by 2-0 deficits and this team plays its best soccer in the second half, perhaps because it’s frequently operating from behind.
The Impact isn’t unlike many -
Kramberger: Is Pointe-Claire’s weekly summer garbage pickup progress or retreat?
When Pointe-Claire initially opted to change its weekly household garbage collection to every other week in May 2015, as a resident I reacted with trepidation to the change.
The main concern was how often racoons would ransack my garbage can, stored in a carport, and leave a mess that would need to be swept up. (Many older Pointe-Claire homes don’t have garages; so garbage cans and rolling bins are often stored outside.)
There was immediate heated reaction to the move by the Morris Trudeau -
