Hickey on Hockey: Antti Niemi a bargain as backup goaltender
With Carey Price on board for the next eight seasons and Charlie Lindgren signed to a one-way deal for three seasons, there’s no room for Antti Niemi next season.

The latest evidence came Saturday in Boston when Niemi made 48 saves, including 20 on the Boston power play, in the Canadiens’ 2-1 overtime loss to the Br -

Schukov: What’s it going to take to make West Islanders use public transit?
I have often said (arguably) the most recurring news headlines in the West Island relate to real estate development; stuff like building over green spaces, densifying neighbourhoods, and makeovers like what to do with a big nunnery on prime peninsular land. Hey, one can even throw in the enigma of a water tower that just won’t go away. This topic being number one is a good thing, in my unsolicited two cents (which now don’t exist) worth because that means the West Island is not overw -

“I got some lucky bounces,” said the 34-year-old Finn.
