Analyze This: High-danger shots become kryptonite for Carey Price
It hasn’t been a banner season for Canadiens netminder Carey Price by any measure. Of the 38 NHL goaltenders who have started 20 games or more, Price ranks 33rd in save percentage (.904), 31st in goals against average (2.98) and 28th in wins (15) through Feb. 20.
For a team that counts on its goaltender to mask several roster deficiencies, a bad season for Price has predictably led to the Canadiens nearly assured of missing the playoffs. Of course, it doesn’t help that his defence is -
