The Formula E car race will not take place in Montreal in 2018, Mayor Valérie Plante announced Monday.
The announcement comes in the wake of uncomfortable questions over the event’s actual success and organization, as well as Plante’s election-campaign promises.

Murder attempt followed by suicide suspected in Pincourt shootings
Provincial police suspect it was a murder attempt followed by an apparent suicide that left a 59-year-old man dead and a 55-year-old man seriously wounded in Pincourt on Sunday.
