Quebec driver facing charges after van crashes with four children aboard
A 40-year-old man is facing dangerous driving charges after a van with four children on board was involved in a series of collisions near Montreal on Saturday.
The Sûreté du Québec say the van hit at least three other vehicles in three separate locations in what they’re describing as a road rage incident.
They say calls began arriving at about 10 a.m. about a man driving dangerously with children in his vehicle on Highway 132 in Longueuil.

Quebec anti-poverty plan to include minimum income guarantee
The Couillard government will present on Sunday its action plan to fight poverty, including a guaranteed minimum income for Quebecers that would be subject to several conditions.
The plan would rely on several incentives to get people currently on social assistance back into the workforce, with the goal of taking 100,000 people out of poverty.

Head-on collision, crash involving parked car on Montreal streets early Sunday
Two separate road incidents took place overnight in Montreal.
The first, a violent collision at about 1:50 a.m. in the Mercier—Hochelaga-Maisonneuve borough, occurred when a car travelling west on Notre-Dame St. near Alphonse-D.-Roy St. veered into the oncoming lane for no apparent reason. It smashed head-on into another vehicle.
