Wondering what to get that lover of the city’s transit network who already has everything?
How about a mug with an image of his or her favourite station, or cufflinks with the métro logo.
Redoing a kitchen? How about a backsplash of tiles modelled after the painted bricks in the Place St-Henri station?
The STM has had a boutique up and running for the last year to sell STM-themed products. With the holidays approaching, the city’s transit corporation is promoting its merc -
Stu Cowan: Blues have a giant on the blue-line in Colton Parayko
If you’re old enough to remember the Friendly Giant children’s TV show that aired on CBC from 1958 to 1985, you’ll recall the opening words: “Look up …. waaaaay up.”
I had a flashback to that show when I interviewed St. Louis defenceman Colton Parayko in the Blues’ dressing room at the Bell Centre after the team’s morning skate Tuesday before a game against the Canadiens. I’m 6-foot-3, but I felt very small standing beside the 6-foot-6, 230- -
