Collision between two trucks, spilled corn causes traffic headaches in Lafontaine tunnel

Plante 'open' to Villanueva mural in Montreal North
Montreal Mayor Valérie Plante said she is “open to the idea” of a mural commemorating Fredy Villanueva in Montreal North.

Quebec creates committee to examine domestic-violence deaths
The Quebec government announced on Tuesday it has assigned the province’s chief coroner to head a committee to examine the causes and circumstances of deaths linked to conjugal violence.
Catherine Ruel-Tessier will oversee a committee representing Quebec’s network of women’s shelters, the Sûreté du Québec and other provincial bodies: the office of criminal prosecutions, the public health institute and the departments of public security and status of women.
