Celine Cooper: It is not women's job to reproduce the Quebec nation
Over the weekend, Coalition Avenir Québec Leader François Legault announced that, if elected next year, his government would put more money into the wallets of parents wishing to have a second or third child. Opinion: Finding win-win solutions for small businesses, teen workers
Teenagers have always gotten a bad rap. These days, we accuse them of being lazy, phone-obsessed and distracted. Our own parents had similar concerns about us. In every generation, it seems, adults just forget. We forget the struggles we had to find a way to fit in, to find a job, to please or defy authority. Over time, what remains are memories of a successful transition into adulthood.
As parents, forgetting is not such a bad thing. When we see our teenagers slipping, we nudge (push?) them bac -

Brownstein: Addition of Nulman to new comedy fest leads to some head-scratching
We can’t get enough comedy in this town. But the recent creation of the Festival du rire de Montréal was not entirely born out of a desire to spread more mirth around the city, but rather because of the allegations of sexual assault and misconduct against Gilbert Rozon, the Just for Laughs/Juste pour rire founder, president and chief shareholder.
Rozon has since departed, and the festival is seeking a buyer for his shares.

It sells La Salsa Della Nonna tomato sauce for $10 a jar. It also sells Gnocchi Della Nonna for $5. And if you’re lucky, you’ll even get to meet the genuine Italian nonna -
