U2 adds second Montreal date on Experience and Innocence tour
U2 has added a second and final Montreal show to its Experience and Innocence tour, promoter Evenko announced Monday.
The Irish superstars will perform Wednesday, June 6 at the Bell Centre. Tickets cost $54.25 to $354.50 and go on sale Monday, Dec. 4 at 10 a.m. online only, at evenko.ca. U2’s June 5 concert sold out shortly after going on sale Monday morning.

Montreal Mayor Valérie Plante unveiled her 12-member executive committee, and it is devoid of religious or cultural minorities, despite an electoral promise Plante made that her administration would better reflect the city’s diversity.

Terror trial: Judge withdraws 1 of 4 charges faced by Montreal couple
A Superior Court judge has withdrawn one of the four charges in the case against a young Montreal couple accused of terror-related offences.
Justice Marc David made the announcement Monday morning to the jury hearing the trial of Sabrine Djermane and El Mahdi Jamali. The jury has not heard evidence since Nov. 7, and, David explained, it was because he had to hear arguments on two motions related to the decision he delivered on Tuesday.
