Patients at Hôtel-Dieu make the move to the CHUM
Fifty patients hospitalized at Hôtel-Dieu Hospital were moved Sunday morning to the new CHUM, as the superhospital continues to ramp up its services. One patient was transferred to another hospital closer to home.
Patients were transferred by ambulance and Medicar buses during the three-hour move to the new hospital on St-Denis St. and Viger Ave.
A patient was transferred every three minutes and it took about 20-22 minutes to move patients from bed to bed, a CHUM spokesperson said.

A 36-year-old man who was the victim of an attempted murder early Sunday morning in Montreal, was once on a list of Quebec’s most wanted fugitives.
Tivon Bradshaw is in stable condition after being shot at the intersection of Mansfield and Saint-Antoine Sts. Bradshaw had been attending a private party when a dispute spilled out into the street. Man shot in Montreal after a private reception
A 36-year-old man was the victim of an attempted murder early Sunday morning in Montreal.
At approximately 3:15 a.m. several calls were made to 911, reporting shots fired in the Ville-Marie borough.
