  According to court records, Josée Milot was denied bail following a two-hour hearing held on Thursday. Quebec Court Judge Manlio Del Negro denied the request for a release, presented by defence lawyer Antonio Cabral. The case is scheduled to return to court in November.

  Three people were aboard a small plane that crashed into trees on private property in St-Lazare on Saturday afternoon.
  There was no fire after the crash and one man managed to make his own way out of the aircraft, and suffered minor injuries.
  The other two men were rescued by firefighters. They had serious injuries, but were conscious when they were taken to hospital.
  The Sûreté du Québec erected a perimeter around the site of the crash and is investigating the accident.
