Sexual assault phone line garners scores of calls, Montreal police report
The temporary phone line set up by the Montreal police this week for victims of sexual assault has already received 53 calls.
The police force set up the line on Thursday in the wake of several allegations of sexual harassment and sexual assault made this week toward high profile figures in Quebec.
According to a release issued by the Montreal police, 43 calls were made to the special line on Thursday and another 10 came in Friday morning.
