Montreal police are seeking help from the public in locating a missing man who has not been in touch with his family since early September.
Rémi André Latour, 68, left his residence in the Plateau Mont-Royal borough on Sept. 6 and his family has been unable to locate him.
Latour is 5-foot-11 and 190 pounds. He has long white hair, which he wears in a ponytail, and brown eyes. He travels on foot or on public transit.

Former Montreal city councillor Zampino wants fraud trial shut down
Former Montreal city councillor Frank Zampino is seeking to halt his fraud trial immediately.
Zampino’s defence lawyer filed a motion to that effect as soon as the Contrecoeur trial resumed at the Montreal courthouse on Tuesday morning after a month-long break.
The defence cites Zampino’s arrest in September on fraud and corruption charges related to calls for tender to award municipal contracts during the early and mid-2000s, during the break in the trial.
