2 patients attack staff, escape from Quebec City psychiatric hospital
Two patients from the Quebec Mental Health University Institute attacked a security guard and sequestered a nurse Sunday night, according to the Journal de Montréal.
The incident began around 10:50 p.m. when the two patients, who were being held by legal order at the psychiatric hospital, tried to escape.
They hit the security guard in the head and then threatened the nurse with a knife. The nurse was not injured, and the guard suffered minor injuries.

Man dies in single-car crash in Ste-Anne-des-Plaines
A man in his 30s was killed Sunday when the vehicle he was in crashed at 10:43 p.m. near the intersection of de La Plaine Rd. and Leclerc St. in Ste-Anne-des-Plaines.
The other occupant of the vehicle, a man in his 40s, was injured, but police do not fear for his life.
Police will question the man as soon as his condition permits.
