  Montreal is set to give owners of pit-bull-type dogs an extra four months to deal with paperwork required to register their pets.
  But a fight against the city’s new dog bylaw is far from over, says a lawyer who is taking on Montreal in court.

  Montreal police have turned to the public for help in tracking down a trio of suspects in a series of thefts in the city’s east end.
  The most recent incident occurred on the afternoon of June 30 and saw two of the suspects distract their victim while the third removed a wallet from the victim’s purse, police said.
  All three suspects were clearly recorded by the surveillance cameras in the store.
