Ex-Alouette Marc-Olivier Brouillette makes transition to career in law
With a summer of freedom suddenly at his disposal — probably for the first time in at least a decade — Marc-Olivier Brouillette spent more time at his cottage, the one by the lake of course, and relaxed.
If he didn’t feel like going to the gym, he didn’t, although he hopes to compete in a half-Ironman competition next summer. He finds himself eating less and has shed about six or seven pounds from his 6-foot-1, 230-pound frame. And for once, when he gets out of bed -

Dan Delmar: Pausing accommodation debate in Quebec would be reasonable
Leaders of at least two major Quebec political parties must have been relieved Friday to learn “arrivals are diminishing” at Quebec’s southern border with the United States.
While the Liberal premier and co-spokespeople for the progressive Québec solidaire tread carefully, others have been taking a manageable crisis and exploiting it as incendiary political fodder ahead of next year’s provincial election.

Montreal graffiti artist pays tribute to painter who died last week
Perhaps what Rob Malo remembers best about Fabrice Caron are the summer days they’d spend together sneaking around abandoned buildings and rail yards, desperate for a blank canvas to spray paint.
Eventually those trips into the city’s far reaches became a rarity and a few years ago they stopped altogether. As he grew older, Malo’s dedication to street art waned. And when Caron began working as a tattoo artist, it left little time for the fly-by-night world of graffiti.
