Yellow Pages ekes out $820,000 profit in second quarter
Yellow Pages said Thursday it earned $820,000 or 3 cents per share in the second quarter, compared with $11 million or 38 cents a share at the same time last year.
The decrease in net earnings is mainly due to a decrease in adjusted EBITDA, partially offset by lower financing costs.
The Montreal-based company‘s quarterly revenues decreased from $210.5 million last year to $191.2 million this year. This decline is mainly attributed to the decline in print media revenues.
