For sky-gazers in Montreal, 58 per cent of the sun will be covered, according to Kelly Lepo, co-ordinator for the McGill Space Institute and staff facilitator for AstroMcGill, which, among other things, seeks to increase public awareness of astronomy.

Fanny Britt's Hunting Houses finds a real estate agent on the brink
If art is meant to imitate life, it’s often pretty selective in what it chooses to mimic. If it’s not Trump or the weather, there’s a good chance it’s real estate and the vagaries thereof. So why aren’t people writing novels about houses and their prices?
Well, now someone has — or at the very least used the subject as both a rich metaphor and a hand -

Laurie Brown would know. As host of CBC Radio 2’s dreamy late-night music show The Signal, she has been helping listeners make that transition for the past decade, telling stories and playing songs that drift through the Canadian ether from 10 to midnight, six nights a week, seeping into that grey area between go-go-go and time to go to sleep.
