Holidays for construction workers will not change until at least Oct. 30 despite the continuing labour unrest, Dominique Vien, Quebec’s Minister of Labour, announced Wednesday.

A paramedics union in the Lac-St-Jean region has reached a consensus to renew its collective agreement with its employer, the Corporation des services d’ambulance du Québec.
The union, called the Syndicat des paramédics d’Ambulance Mido, is located in Dolbeau-Mistassini, and has about 30 members.
