Austin Riley loves cars.
I mean, he really loves cars.
He loved cars before he could walk and when he started walking would carry small toy cars with him everywhere he went. On his first day of kindergarten, Riley had his lunch and about 200 little Matchbox cars in his knapsack.
“We always knew he had a passion for cars,” Austin’s father, Jason, said. “He loved loud cars, he loved exotic cars, he loved looking at race cars.”
The only thing Austin ever wanted to talk -

Celine Cooper: Trudeau, Obama and their not-so-private dinner
So, we fell for it. Again.
I’m talking about the media’s collective fawning over a photo of former U.S. president Barack Obama and Prime Minister Justin Trudeau taken at Liverpool House in Montreal’s Little Burgundy. It shows the two friends sitting across from one another at the table, sleeves rolled up, jackets off, engaged in conversation, enjoying a casual dinner.
The story behind the shot: Obama was in Montreal last week to deliver a sold-out keynote speech at -

Fabrizio Sciola’s love affair with Ferrari blossomed when he was 12 and an acquaintance of his father’s pulled up in front of their house in the same red sports car he had seen actor Tom Selleck driving in the 1980s Magnum P.I. television series.
“I was out playing with my friends in the streets … back then, kids used to play in the streets, no iPad,” said Sciola, 43. “Then, all of a sudden I see this Ferrari … it was a 308 Magnum P.I. car parked in fr -
Opinion: Wonder Woman is a great feminist film for kids — with some explaining
Wonder Woman is a great feminist film, no doubt about it. But if you’re taking kids to see it, there are a few things you’ll need to chat about if you really want to hammer home its message.
For the first three-quarters of the film, wonder woman, Diana of Thermyscira, is portrayed as naïve, innocent and child-like. She spends most of her on-screen time embodying one the most damaging female stereotypes.
There’s an explanation for this. Of course, it would be totally normal -

Even as swollen rivers have receded in Quebec, some experts suggest historic flooding this year could mean critter and pest-related woes in months and years to come.
For now, heavy water accumulation has created standing pools of water which could translate into fertile ground for mosquito populations this year.
“I do expect several times the usual number of mosquitoes,” said Paul Maloney, an entomologist based in western Montreal, part of which was hit hard thi -

Fitness: Do runners really need to stretch?
When it was first reported that stretching before exercise didn’t reduce the risk of injury, the exercise community reeled back in surprise and disbelief. It was the early 2000s and stretching was considered a vital part of most warm-up routines.
More than a decade and several corroborating studies later, most runners have moved their stretching routine to after or between workouts, still believing that more pliable muscles will help ward off chronic running injuries and make them better r -
