Montreal poised to introduce new calèche regulations
The city of Montreal intends to regulate its controversial calèche industry with a set of rules aimed at ensuring the welfare of the horses that are a part of it, Mayor Denis Coderre said Wednesday.

Last November, barely 22 when she was diagnosed with invasive breast cancer, Lindsey Hope Finkelstein had radical surgery to amputate both breasts. Within six months, as she was getting chemotherapy, her mom, Merle, was in the operating room for the same surgery, a double mastectomy.
