A 57-year-old Montreal man is facing charges of forcible confinement and sexual intercourse with two young girls.
Gerardo Segovia of Montreal North was arrested by police May 28 and appeared in Quebec Court the following day.
The girls are 9 and 10 years old. Police suspect there may be other victims.

Montrealers who like to walk through the Jean Talon Market will have more time to do so this summer.
Previously a two-day affair, the market will soon be walkable for pedestrians four days a week — Thursday through Sunday, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The most common form of domestic violence in the province is psychological, according to a report published by the Institut de la statistique du Québec on Tuesday.
