English language regional telecasts of weekday Canadiens games are moving back to TSN next season.

Preliminary hearing begins for teen charged with fatal stabbing
A preliminary hearing began on Tuesday for a 16-year-old charged with the fatal stabbing a 15-year-old LaSalle boy following a party on Nun’s Island last October. The hearing resumes on Friday and is scheduled to last six days, said Tiago Murias, the youth’s defence lawyer.

Dispute ends with teenage girl shot outside Laval métro station
Laval police are trying to unravel the sequence of events that led to a 15-year-old girl’s being shot in the stomach outside the Cartier métro station in Laval early Tuesday.
Police spokesperson Franco Di Genova said officers arrived at the scene about 12:30 a.m. after receiving 911 calls of shots being fired. On their arrival they found the girl, who had been shot once in the stomach, and her friends outside the métro station.
Thus far, police only know the gunshot followed
