Canada's annual inflation rate fell to 2.5 per cent last month marking the slowest increase since March 2021, but a new survey highlights that Albertans are still the most stressed about finances among all Canadians. Lethbridge police are searching for a 40-year-old woman they believe is kayaking down the South Saskatchewan River. Aldea Margret Tillmans, 40, has not been seen or in contact with family since Aug. 9. Police says efforts to locate her have been unsuccessful, and they're growing concerned for her well-being. A woman who was reported missing during a kayak trip down the South Saskatchewan River has been located safe. The woman, 40, was found by Halo Air Ambulance during an aerial search along the river, police say. “Police thank RCMP, Halo, the media and public for their assistance,” Lethbridge police said in a news release. The price to buy a home in Lethbridge has jumped by more than 19 per cent over the past year, statistics indicate.
