Investigation underway into garage fire in Thorncliffe
Firefighters are on scene of a fire in the Calgary community of Thorncliffe. Around 5 p.m., the fire department received word of a garage fire at a home on Thornton Road. The cause of the blaze wasn’t clear, but one spokesperson said it potentially involved a power line that sparked some flames. Firefighters were able to quickly extinguish the fire. Garage of Thorncliffe home destroyed in fire
The garage of a home in the northwest Calgary community of Thorncliffe was destroyed in a fire on Friday evening. Around 5:30 p.m., the fire department received word of a detached garage fire at a home on Thornton Road.
