Calgary police are searching for the driver responsible for a fatal hit-and-run in the northeast community of Horizon on Friday. Officers were called to the 3800 block of 34 Street N.E. just before 1:30 a.m. A woman in her 30s was pronounced dead at the scene. Police said Friday they believe the victim was walking north when she was hit by a vehicle travelling at a high rate of speed.
