The 2010 Chevy Silverado pickup truck, which was parked on the side of Range Road 281 near Nanton, was reported to police at around 8:15 a.m. on Tuesday. RCMP say investigators arrived shortly after and found a man and woman asleep inside the truck, which had "significant" damage. Both occupants had warrants out for their arrests, and RCMP say they -

She said the snow is expected to start up again later in the afternoon. “We'll see more accumulation later today. So, you know, 40 -

Unique floating recreation vehicle up for sale
Gordon McKenzie has the polished aluminum vehicle that looks like someone from the past's idea of the future listed at $32,000 on his Facebook Market Place page and other social media sites. Its angular front windshield makes it look fast while it's standing still. McKenzie named it 'Flounder' because it was blue and white when he got it. And it floats. It was built by his friend Stanley over 30 years ago. "I love Stanley and I love Flounder," said McKenzie. "It's got a huge sentimental value." -

Luxury home sales surge illustrates high consumer confidence in Calgary
More than 420 homes, priced at over $1 million, sold in the city of Calgary during the first few months of the year, representing a huge surge over last year. The post-pandemic data, from Sotheby's International Realty, suggests that "buoyant consumer optimism" as well as a strong local economy contributed to the increased sales between January and March. Calgary also took advantage of strong "seller's market" conditions, the group says. "A booming energy sector, rapidly diversifying economy, em -
