In an effort to improve the outcome of crisis response and mental health calls, the City of Calgary and the Calgary Police Service (CPS) are increasing funding to dozens of community groups and initiatives. Beltline dumpster fire spreads to nearby building
Quick work by the Calgary Fire Department stopped a dumpster fire from spreading further after it set a nearby building ablaze early Thursday. Instead of acting on an advisory panel's recommendation to end the mandatory quarantine hotel program for those flying into Canada, the federal government is increasing the penalty for those who choose to skip it.
