High River RCMP search for suspects connected to thefts, use of stolen credit card
High River RCMP are trying to identify two men accused of using a stolen credit card at an Aldersyde, Alta. gas station, who are also believed to be connected to a series of thefts. Four thefts were reported from vehicles and garages in the town of High River — about 20 minutes south of Calgary — between 1 and 3 a.m. on Nov. 2. Wind warnings are in effect for the southwest corner of the province, with gusts up to 100 km/h expected Wednesday morning, which could redevelop in the evening hours. Human remains found in southern Alberta park identified as missing man
Blood Tribe Police Service officials confirm the body found last week in Spring Glen Park was Jason Many Fingers, the man who had been missing since Sept. 20. An autopsy verified the remains discovered in the park near a truck associated to Many Fingers were those of the 46-year-old.
