Man, 43, charged after Red Deer vehicles set ablaze
Several Red Deer residents were told to leave their homes Monday morning after two vehicles were set ablaze in the Terrace Park neighbourhood. RCMP and emergency services were called twice early Monday, once at 3:25 a.m. and again at 4:15 a.m. Both times, callers reported vehicles on fire. No injuries were reported. With corrective measures taken, the licence of a Calgary milk processor that had been suspended by the Canadian Food Inspection Agency has been reinstated. Police are still trying to identify the remains of a body found near a burning pickup truck in northern B.C. last week as they search for the teens who were driving the vehicle.
