An Alberta man is facing charges after a woman was thrown from an ATV and suffered injuries requiring aid from STARS. STARS was called to an area north of Lac La Biche on Saturday after a 23-year-old woman was injured in an ATV crash. After losing her phone while riding on a golf cart in Scottsdale, Ariz., a 24-year-old Calgary woman was hit by a pickup and later died in hospital. Police say Jesena Andoney, 24, was riding on a golf cart on Thomas Road, in Scottsdale, about 1:44 a.m. Saturday when she lost her phone.
