A woman is dead and a youth has been airlifted to hospital after what police believe was a carbon monoxide poisoning at a campground near Salmon Arm. Corporal Chris Manseau says police were called to a private campground around 10 a.m. just outside of Salmon Arm. "It's been determined that it's very likely it was a carbon monoxide poisoning from a camp stove inside a tent," he said. Authorities in Rocky Mountain House are investigating after a woman was killed in a hit-and-run early Friday morning. A group of kids were able to meet up with some of the newest members of the Calgary Stampeders at a special practice on Saturday. SACRAMENTO, Calif. - Authorities say somebody stole a tripod from a California Department of Transportation crew and then dropped it from an overpass onto a Sacramento freeway, impaling the lung of a passenger in a van. The driver of the van, Tim Page, tells KCRA-TV that he was on Interstate 5 Thursday morning when the yellow-and-red tripod smashed through the glass.
