Small rockslide slows traffic near Jasper
Highway 16 traffic west of Jasper was slowed momentarily on Sunday as officials cleared a rockslide that was partially blocking the roadway. Jasper RCMP were alerted to the debris about 20 kilometres west of Jasper around 11 a.m. Both directions of traffic were stopped for about half an hour while a Parks Canada highway maintenance crew cleared the highway. Police indicate discovery of woman's body in Galt Gardens is non-suspicious

LETHBRIDGE -- Lethbridge Police officers were on scene at Galt Gardens late Saturday (Apr 6) afternoon investigating the diiscovery of a woman's body.
While police initially requested that the public avoid the area, they completed the scene investigation by 8:30-pm and indicate there is no threat to the community.
Police deemed the death non-suspicious but, the file remains under investigation.
