1919: The year they cancelled the Stanley Cup
Pop quiz: Who won the Stanley Cup 100 years ago? If you don’t know the answer, don’t take a guess. You’ll be wrong. 'Down on my knees:' Grief and sadness an obstacle for many after Broncos crash
Kevin Matechuk of Colonsay, Sask., wasn't prepared for the emotions that hit him when he visited the site of the Humboldt Broncos bus crash. It still knocks you down a bit," Starkell says, choking -

People in Manitoba, Ontario, Saskatchewan and New Brunswick will be paying more for gasoline and heating fuel Monday when the federal government's carbon tax begins in provinces that refused to impose their own emissions pricing.
