LETHBRIDGE - It took less than eight minutes for Lethbridge Court of Queen's Bench Justice E.C. Wilson to deliver his verdict in the trial of 35-year-old Raymond High School teacher Jentry Jack Salmon.

LETHBRIDGE, AB – Emergency service workers are up on the roof.
Lethbridge firefighters and paramedics are camped out on the rooftop of Hudsons Pub, raising funds for Muscular Dystrophy Canada.
“As a firefighter, I feel like we have an obligation to give back to the community and this is a great cause for us to be able to support,” said David Skilling, a firefighter taking part in the event for the first time.

Highway south of Calgary reopens following fatal crash
One person was killed in a crash on Highway 2A, south of the city, on Wednesday evening and the roadway was closed for several hours while police investigated. Emergency crews were called to a three vehicle crash on the highway, about 3 km north of Okotoks, at about 11:00 p.m. One person was pronounced dead at the scene.
